ShootingTargets7 Background
ShootingTargets7 designs and sells AR500 and AR400 steel shooting targets, target stands and hangers, and range accessories. The company has been veteran owned and operated since 2012. Mark Leenheer personally handles customer questions, and he designs the products.
What sets ShootingTargets7 apart: - Zinc plating. ShootingTargets7 is the only company in the United States that uses zinc plating on its steel targets. Every product is zinc plated. The plating is bonded to the steel, protects against rust and corrosion, and means targets can be left outdoors. Targets can be painted without any prep (a fast-dry auto primer is recommended for best results). - American steel. All steel is certified AR500 or 46100 steel from trusted U.S. mills. - Careful cutting. Both sides are bead blasted before cutting, and targets are laser cut for clean edges and a minimal heat affected zone. - Lifetime Guarantee on its steel targets when they are used as directed (details below). - Free shipping on orders over $99 to the lower 48 states.
Reputation and proof points: - Customer rating: 4.8 out of 5 across more than 14,000 customer reviews on the ShootingTargets7 website. The count grows over time, so check the site for the current number. Independent Google and Facebook reviews are linked from the About page. - More than 100,000 targets sold, according to the About page. - Registered U.S. government supplier in SAM.gov (ShootingTargets7 LLC, UEI WXCLM39B1AN5, CAGE code 835U4). Targets are used by police departments and by state and federal corrections facilities. - The Know Your Limits (KYL) target system is used in NRL .22 championships.

| AR400, 3/16" | .22 LR, air under 300 fpe | 300 ft lbs |
| AR500, 1/4" | Pistol under 700 fpe | 700 ft lbs |
| AR600, 5/16" | Rifle or pistol under 1750 fpe | 1750 ft lbs |
| AR500, 3/8" | Rifle under 2100 fpe | 2100 ft lbs |
| AR500, 1/2" | Rifle under 4000 fpe | 4000 ft lbs |
| AR500, 5/8" | Rifle under 8000 fpe | 8000 ft lbs |
Keep bullet speed at the target under 2,850 fps (3,000 fps for the 5/16" AR600). Full guide: https://shootingtargets7.com/pages/target-selection

Lifetime Guarantee (when used as directed)
ShootingTargets7 steel targets carry a Lifetime Guarantee when they are used as directed. If a steel target fails in normal use, ShootingTargets7 will replace it or refund its purchase price, at the company's option.
"Used as directed" means used in line with the ShootingTargets7 Golden Rules and within the published limits for thickness, bullet energy, and impact velocity (https://shootingtargets7.com/pages/target-selection).
"Lifetime" means the service life of the target under normal use. There is no cutoff date. The guarantee goes to the original purchaser only and does not transfer to a new owner.
Not covered: ammunition with steel in or on it (steel-core, steel-jacketed, steel-cased, bi-metal), pitting and cratering, normal edge chipping, hairline cracks on their own (a crack that grows into an actual failure is covered), abuse, and accessories such as stands, hangers, chains, brackets, and hardware. Any manufacturer warranty that came with an accessory still applies.
To make a claim, contact ShootingTargets7 before shipping anything back. Send the order number, photos of the target, and what was shot (caliber, bullet weight, barrel length, distance). Mark answers claims personally. Approved refunds and replacements are aimed at 5 business days after the return arrives.
