Used these a few times now and I really like them, really clever design. A definite improvement on standard 2x4 cap mounts. Much more sturdy, just remember that there is an assembly video! I did some modifications with the 2x4 to be able to mount a secondary gong. ST7 is now my goto for steel targets and associated accessories. Mark is great and really helpful with any questions you have.

These T-Post mounts are great and make the installation set up much easier than hanging our targets from chains. They are heavy duty and function perfectly. Also, by sinking numerous 1-1/2" pipes about 2' deep into the ground in various locations on our range, we have the added ability to move the targets around to change the configuration of the range by simply moving the T-Posts around for the drills that we want to shoot that day.

Very well made, quality products. Targets are far superior in cut and finish to ones I've bought elsewhere. Target hangers are very well designed. The white-painted target is the full size steel target. The target hangers are an awesome idea, heavy duty, easy to use. In the hanger pic I changed to a 4x4 post with longer bolts and spacers . The target is an older, poor quality one. Had great input from Mark about attaching these and the 4x4 post conversions. P.S: I'm lowering the post height + raising the berm height! Range is under renovation 😁
Assembly was very simple as we followed the video instructions. Holds up very well and did not move no matter how many times we shot our target

Fantastic design. Holds targets at slight angle to deflect fragments downward and dissipate energy. Combine with ST7 2x4 target stand and 2x4 armor for nearly bomb-proof steel targets.
After figuring out how they hang on the t-post the rest was a piece of cake. They hold up well and dont move at all. The gong makes a nice ting sound when hit and you can hear them over 100 yards away. Great product.

I love the mounting system and target. The mount is top notch and holds the target very well.
I like this mount. The one-bolt attachment makes it easy to install or change out my target. It quickly slips over a 2x4 and tightens up firmly. I can set the height to whatever I need, whether that's 3 feet off the ground, or 8 feet up in the air -- whatever length I cut the stud. When I'm done with my day, the target and attachment come right off the stud, making it easy to stow everything back in the car for the trip home.

As you can see I have most of Marks various target hangers. This latest one is awesome. I use T-posts pretty much exclusively for my range. Being able to top off a post with another target is great but being able to pop it off using a couple of adjustable wrenches and take it somewhere else just too convenient. I've been very happy with everything I have ever purchased from shootingtargets7.

Include assembly instructions to start with so referring back to photos on website isn't necessary. Next design something that actually attaches to T-post and stays that way would be quite beneficial.

Good design. Seems strong so far. Tighter fit than old steel challenge caps. The acorn bolt has taken a couple direct shots and is holding up very well. I bought a couple spares incase they don’t.

Works good holds even extremely heavy targets up and is solid, what more, can you ask for i have only tried it for 2x4's but it looks like a t-post will work as well

Very satisfied. Exactly what I wanted. I love the fact that if I want, I can use them on 2X4"s. My use is on T-fence posts and I'll be using the holes for adding pipe for adding hanging steel targets. A whole lot of options. Won't be the last time I get these.

Wiggles quite a bit with 8" 5/8 target
Store owner replied: Hey John, that should not be the case unless your acorn bolt is loose or your cap is not assembled correctly. Those acorn bolts should be completely tight (80 ft lbs) and stay tight in use. Please contact me for help if your bolt is tight, it's assembled correctly and you're still seeing this.

Really like the possibilities for T-posts & 2x4's set ups. T-posts set up is quick & easy.
Haven't had a chance to actually use them yet, but they do seem like they are going to work well for the intended purpose. Love the fact they can be converted to work with a metal T post or 2 x 4, and they have the 1" hole to insert a metal tube between the posts to hang gongs between the posts. Seems like a lot of functionality for a minimal price.
