The 3/16 rimfire targets are great. I hang from 50-350 yards in 25yd increments. They give a nice ring with a 22lr.
These are amazing. Held up to a .223 & .308 at 50 yards very little impact issues. Will buy these again once I find a way to destroy them.

I bought the 6" gong with the hangars as a sighter target for shooting 200 yards and beyond with my precision .22. A unique feature of this gong is the audible "ring" you get even at longer distances.

Targets are great, I set this up to shoot blackjack. Quality of everything I bought is superb!
All the gongs have been shot 50+ times each with 9mm, 40sw and 45acp - jacketed and lead. The first gong pictures has had 40 rounds of .223 @30yds - 55gr fmj 2900fps at the muzzle. The gong proved that it is quality steel. I love the plating, much better than the old plain finish gongs. I've purchased (6) 8" gongs 15 years ago that are still going strong.

I purchased the 3/16” 8,6 and 4 inch gongs to practice with a .22 to prepare for the 300 yard long gong matches. So how tough are these AR400 plates? While shooting my .22LR at 300m my target took a hit from another shooter using a 6.5 Creedmoor. Anyway, he apologized and we went down range to see the hole through my target….but it was only a dent. We were both impressed.
These 1/2” AR500 steel targets are absolutely awesome. My first time shooting at them at the range and everybody was asking where I got them and the stand. The brackets I already had, and they make the stand actually sit about a foot taller. I have no complaints with the quality and will probably be berried with them. They will outlast me.
Target is great. Due to the size and not wanting to use the Reynolds adapter. I had to trim the hangers to accommodate the target. But it hangs perfectly and sounds good at 600yds.
These targets are great!, beware of knockoff steel targets sold elsewhere, some are just metal that deform with big dents. some of these targets pictured are a few years old and some are recent purchases and have been shot with everything from .22 - 9mm - 45 acp - 6.8 SPC - .223- 30-06 - 7.62 - and a .58 flintlock. they get knocked around a lot with no visible dents. hitting them with a coat of paint makes them look new. just good quality steel targets, I love them.

The photo is of the gong I purchased when I finished hanging from an inexpensive harbor freight sawhorse making very portable. So far I have only shot it with .22 rimfire, 9mm and .45acp all at about 30yds. If it didn't leave little strike marks on the surface nobody would ever know a bullet has contacted it. That plate is so hard the bullets turn to dust. I will be buy more in different configurations in the future.
I recently became interested in a shooting game called “Long Gong”. You shoot 300 yards at 8”, 6” and 4” gongs. I used the hooks from shooting target 7 and hung them from a piece of pipe. They ring clearly when struck with a .22lr. I am very pleased with the targets and service and am considering ordering more.
So, I am a long way from completing this project for the Oklahoma City Gun Club, but received the gongs and had them cut to my specifications and they sound just as I was hoping. I am making a pistol xylophone for our Plinking Range. Really pleased with the quality and will be ordering more in next year’s budget to have for backups.
Clearly a quality product. The 16" ½" AR500 gong is bright and *solid* at 35+/-lbs. Perfectly cut, no rough or sharp edges, and easy to incorporate into the self built multi-target stand. The freebie small "dingers" just add to the value. All hanging holes are perfectly aligned and about as simple as it gets to hang with minimal hardware I had on hand. I've been searching for large, sturdy steel to ring at long distance with my Sharps 1874 .45-70. This gong absolutely fills the bill perfectly. The little dingers will be a kick to slap with my 10/22 rifle and .22/45 Mark IV pistol. Mark puts out quality products at VERY competitive prices compared to others. As an aside, his emails are a fun diversion to receive and not excessive or remotely considered spam. Keep it up, Marc, I'm looking forward to a next purchase. -gjb

Great targets !! Big tip, keep an eye on his bargain bin. These were too good to pass up. Did a quick diy set up, just to put more targets on the range, I would advise against using chains personally. But when you get targets of this quality for this price. It’s hard to resist.

ST7 Is the best place for all steel targets systems. I bought the newest style hangers with the pointed bolt head that helps deflect a direct hit, and also some of the older multi piece hangers and thin rimfire targets, and these are second to none in the business. We have five of these banks of NRL22 gongs all mounted with SHOOTING TARGETS 7 hardware. You can not beat the price or quality even if you try to buy in bulk. I know because I tried. I like most the thought that went into what products to use to mount the steel targets at the correct angle so the spent bullet goes directly into the ground. Shooting Targets 7 carries a great line of high quality products. One of my most recent purchases was a 1"X3/16" AR500 steel gong which I turned so the 3/16" edge is facing me shooter.
I love Shooting Targets 7 gongs. I made two target stands for the gongs I bought from them. The large stand is setup with a 3", 2", 1", 5/8", 1/2", 3/8", 1/4" and 1/4" gongs. The small stand is setup with 1", 5/8", 1/2", 3/8" and 1/4" gongs. I shoot them from 25yds and farther. No signs of any damage.
