When I ordered targets, I ordered the stand but forgot the extensions. I ordered two sets of exits ions to go with my second stand. Right now I'm only using one set of extensions to alternate shooting heights. My extra set will be used when I order more targets and another stand.

The 50 yard range I shoot at has a berm at the 50m yard line and your targets need to be above it. These leg extensions do the trick. The build quality and price are excellent.

Just got back from shooting at my local range, and we were able to use my new leg extensions for the ST7 target frames. They raised the plates up to a much more natural shooting height, where we're shooting center of mass at the plates instead of trying to kneecap the bad guy! Seriously, they worked out great for both handgun and rifle work. Our range doesn't cut the grass, and as it starts to grow the regular target height is pretty low for 100 yd rifle work. The only thing missing that would have made them perfect was some kind of spring-loaded detent pin so they would stay attached when you lift the frame for re-positioning. Overall very happy with the purchase. Speedy shipping as always.

these leg extensions get the targets way up there. I go up to Redwood country, here in California to do my shooting fun with the family. Up there its hard to find a straight line of 200 yards or better with out a huge trunk lying in the way. Got these to get better clearance. But the legs by them selves were high enough. With two 1/2" thick targets the shifting weight was a little bit of a challenge to get the whole thing up.( this will go easier when my boys are older) I was sure from the video they would take the weight and even more. It makes seeing the targets super clear and nice, especially with dead trees and brush in the firing lane. They stayed rock steady with hits from a .300 win mag. For you hand gun shooters it does put the targets at eye level. The legs stay way out of the way, so I don't see how you would hit them.

Ordered these leg extensions and stand on sale with free shipping. Couldn't be easier to set up if you have help. Depending on the length of your 2x4, have an extra hand comes in handy, but once setup it maintains location and balance well. I hung a 16" 3/8" round gong and a combination silohuete with center plate both on it with the leg extensions and it's been very solid. I would certainly buy again. The only thing I wish it had was some sort of detent to keep the legs from falling out as you assembled it.

My club allows steel but the targets have to be at least 24" off the ground. With these leg extensions I decided to pick up the ST7 stand and give it at try. The extension legs let me get the targets up at allowable height, and, they are placed at a level that is good for both bench and pistol shooting.

I ordered these with my second order, the height with just the stands it just a tad low if you are shooting standing with a pistol, using a rifle at distance I might not be as useful or handy I should say. Thought about using something else to raise them but for the price and perfect fit, can't go wrong, within a minute the targets were at the perfect level for pistol shooting. The stand is rock solid with 3 3/8 silhouettes and 2 gongs hanging on a 12 ft long 2x4 and their chains. Had them all swinging from hits and the stand does not move. Quick fast setup.

I was afraid with the extra height it might be wobbly, but not the case. It is VERY sturdy and stable with extensions. If you do steel challenge or IDPA or IPSC type matches, you will want the extensions. Very easy to attach.

These get the stand up to a height suitable for a large archery target. They are very sturdy and slide on easily. The only improvement I might suggest are thumb screws to lock them on. When you lift the stand up to move it, the legs tend to fall off. They could just be taped on with a bit of gorilla tape but I thumb screw might be a bit nicer.

Bought these for those times in the desert when you need a bit more height to clear the desert scrub. Haven't used them yet but they should work fine.

I don't know if this was due to the extensions or the stand itself. Three of the leg extensions went on with no problem. The fourth leg extension needed a little more twisting and force to get it on which pulled off the paint and scratched the leg up where it inserts. Besides that I haven't experienced any other problems.
