IMPORTANT INFO FOR 5.56/.223
This 5/16" 46100 target was destroyed after being shot with a 5.56 at 50 yds. (you should never do this regardless of thickness).
To avoid anyone else having this issue I am posting this here to be
as clear and transparent as is possible.
Be 115-125 yds away with 16" barrel & 55g ammo so bullet speed drops below the max allowed of 2850fps. Further still if you have a longer barrel. If you can not back up shoot heavier (SLOWER) ammo.
I will expect you to take responsibility and will not replace your targets if you destroy them because you did not follow these instructions.

Q: Can the 5/16 handle 5.56? A: Yes but be far enough away so bullet speed is BELOW 2850fps or you could pierce them. (not 60 yds)
