I have two of these targets now. Best targets I’ve ever owned. Typically shoot 9mm sub guns or AR .223 and haven’t put a dent in these targets or had any problems with the chains they come with to hang from. Using a 38 revolver at 50 yards I hear NO difference in ringing the bullseye, in fact I had a hard time hearing any ring... more of a thud than a ring.Quality Price Shipping
I also purchased the gong collection and it is fantastic.
I would suggest the 3 inch target have two ears to keep it from spinning when you hit it.
Marks Note: Annie, You really should have bought a 1/4 inch thick bullseye target or even 3/16 thick AR400 for your .380.
The reason you are having trouble hearing it is because it's far too thick for your .380.
3 Inch gongs are best hung from one of our single rubber straps so they don't swing side to side.

I've read other reviews and totally agree with the masses; these are the best! Very well made and solid. I purchased the 3/8ths and had a ball painting it using the magnetic stencil and a blaze orange center; almost too pretty to shoot! Used Rust-Oleum marking paint from the depot. These bullseye targets are great fun !! People tend to want to hog em though so buy more than one! The ten inch is a perfect size if you’re just takin a couple of targets to the range. Ready to hang to the stand. I didnt read the target selection piece of the site. Hit this with 5.56 at 50 yards (longest at this range) and it pitted badly with chunks taken out. I was used to my friends 1/2" ar550 steel which can take 5.56 at 25 yards without pitting.Quality Price Shipping
My fault, at least I have the other side to setup at 100 yards now. Really wish ST7 had ar550 steel I could purchase as well.
Bullseye target was a hit, everyone wanted to hit the middle instead of the standard torso ar550 we had.
#Marks Note: We have EXTENSIVELY tested even AR600 (confirmed Brinell over 600 by our in house hardness tester) and it pits noticeably at 50 yds with 55g 5.56. Please
contact me directly regarding this steel you speak of. In 10 years of looking (and I've looked a lot) I have found NOTHING that will not pit at 25yds with 55g 5.56.

I placed an order on a Sunday and it shipped on Monday. I ordered several different sizes of 3/8" thick targets. This one is my favorite. I like the difference in sound when the bullseye is hit. It's a good product. I use it as a "change of pace" for NRA/CMP Highpower training. The 3" gong is the same size as the X-ring on the SR target. Only thing I would want would there be a 7" large plate instead of the 10". That would simulate the SR's 10 ring. Your needs may be different than mine.
