Bought this to help my wife in self defense training. She really liked the feedback and visual of hitting the perp in torso and head shots.
Great quality and fair pricing. She shoots at 15 and 21 feet with a Bersa Thunder 380. No damage or pitting of the target. I shoot at 25-30 feet with either a Bersa Thunder 380 or Ruger SR9 -- no pitting. This really adds to the skill level and is way more fun than shooting paper.

Bought two 3/16" torso for rimfire and 9mm pistol/carbine. Great ! Shot with 9mm carbine at 10 yards and no damage. .22lr and .17hmr ring well at distance. Hanged them on ST7 steel t-post mounts...highly recommended. I now have 6 gongs, 2 torso, and one 10" bullseye. Love 'em all! After I bought a steel target from you yesterday, I read your very informative book on steel targets. I like your owner’s enthusiasm and his commitment to his product. As a Veteran with some hearing loss I think that I should have ordered the smaller thickness to get more ring. I will be shooting mostly 9mm ammo. Please recommend and send me whatever you think that I need. Everyone should read your on line book before buying steel targets.Quality Price Shipping

The target you have should ring loudly with
9mm. 3/16" is as thin as we go and you can't
go any thinner with 9mm anyway.
I would recommend you swap your chains out to rubber straps
they cost just a bit more but I will take care of you at
no cost.

I HAVE TO SAY THAT THESE SILHOUETTES ARE GREAT YOU GET YOUR MONEYS WORTH. I BOUGHT 2 SIX MONTH AGO THEN CAME BACK AND BOUGHT 4 MORE. THEY MAKE A GREAT SOUND WHEN YOU HIT THEM. My dream is to have a range full of steel targets. This was step one and I love it. I have only shot it once with my G43 but I was impressed. Knocked the primer/paint off showing a good hit, but doesn't so much as scratch the steel.Quality Price Shipping

Wow had it about 100yard shot it with .223 all it did was just put a dent on it, did not go thru at all. Then used .556 just to see. my friends and I knew it was going thru and it did. I ordered the ar400 since I primarily shoot .22. I have a few bigger rounds that I was tempted to get the ar500 for, but wasn't sure if the .22 could ring it enough. I do not regret going with the ar400. The furthest I have shot out is 265 on the .22 and I could easily hear hits and see the splatter through my scope. Shipping came quick and even got a free tootsie roll, although it was pancaked from the targets! These seem like they will hold up forever, well worth the initial investment for a lifetime of use. These are truly excellent targets, my wife neighbor and I use these with 9mm and 22lr and they work great with no damage whatsoever.
