These work well by themselves or with the Rubber Straps. The will fit in the hole in the rubber strap, but you need to pull pretty good to get around the corner. I run mine so the gate is away from the shooter. Mine have not yet taken a poorly aimed bullet strike, but time will tell. I normally use mine with 22LR but it is possible they will see some 9mm action.Quality Price Shipping
